Stacking the Shelves (3)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. Check out her blog here! Basically, it’s a time where I get to show off all the books I got in the past week (purchased, netgalley, borrowed, etc). I’m going to keep my time period from Sunday through Saturday, posting my weekly updates on Sunday morning.

Today’s time period is from 9/8/13 through 9/14/13.

Bought:

I’m still saving for the Harry Potter boxed set, but I went to the dentist on Tuesday and to celebrate my survival I just had to go to the used book store next door! I got all three of those books for $10 – not too shabby!

From NetGalley:

I didn’t request too many this week, because I’m trying to catch up from my haul last week!

Added to my Wishlist:

Stackingshelves3-3

So… many… pretty… covers!!! Especially A Shimmer of Angels – I’m drooling!

  1. In Honor is really good and powerful. I hope you’re able to get a copy! And I love the cover for Endless. It’s just too gorgeous. Such great books this week 😀

    • Isn’t it stunning?? I didn’t even care what it was about, I just hit the request button because it was so beautiful! And isn’t Jessica Kirby the author of Golden as well? I’m thinking of ordering both whenever I get around to it 🙂

  2. I love love love Wicked Lovely and hope you enjoy it. The Lovely Bones was utterly devastating.

I’ve been wanting to read Valkyrie Rising as well so I’m curious to see how you like it. I haven’t heard too much about it.

    • Hopefully I will! I’ve read The Lovely Bones before, when I was about 14, and hated it, but I wanted to give it a second chance and since it was fifty cents I figured why not. I haven’t heard anything about Valkyrie Rising, but it was free and I never turn down a free book!

I'd love to hear from you! Comment below and we can fangirl, rant, or cry over whatever it is that strikes our fancy. I truly appreciate each and every comment, and I'd love to chat!
