Top Three Favorites:

So unlike last month there were some clear favorites for me this November. I read some good books, but then I read these amazing books. Drumroll please… Prodigy, Altered, and World After! And I’d also like to give a nod to Steelheart. I had to pick top three, but Steelheart really is tied with World After.

Three Least Favorites:

Easy picks, this one. The Switch (slut shaming and creepy guys), Scarred Love (statutory rape disguised as undying love), and The Sound of Shooting Stars (unnecessary high school drama).

Standing On My Soapbox/Surveys/Fun Posts:

Other notable achievements:

  • Not much to report! Honestly I can’t believe November is already over. It feels like it was just Halloween yesterday!

What I’m looking forward to in December:

  • I’m getting my hair cut on the 3rd! Not a big deal, I know… but I’m finally getting the pixie cut I’ve wanted to do for a few years now!
  • I’m meeting Marie Lu on December 7th, and getting my books signed! I have to finish Champion though… whoops! I’m just so afraid of it all ending!
  • CHRISTMAS! Of course! Peppermint and chocolate and blankets and parties 🙂 Plus the office is always decorated and I love all the glitter everywhere. Though I hate sweeping it up come January…

Well, that was my November. How was everyone else’s? Can’t wait to see what December brings!

    • Of course I will! Hopefully I won’t look like a boy (my only worry – but that’s what makeup, earrings, and headbands are for, right?) and you guys won’t be put off by my face! But I’m so very excited it’s been five years since I first wanted to do it and now it’s happening!!!

  1. SO! I just realised that December 3rd is also my six month blogging ‘anniversary’, AND you’re getting your hair cut AND I’m reviewing Entice. So much amazingness in one day!
You better read Ignite in December, Kayla. You better. 😀
And Christmas is pretty much my favourite time of the year. So much better than birthdays, in my humble opinion.
OH. And don’t look at the little green sticker that is on the envelope from yours truly. They make me write a detailed description of everything inside. WAY TO RUIN CHRISTMAS, AUSPOST. But anyway, your card should be there in two weeks, apparently 😀 😀 😀

    • IT’S A SIGN!!! THAT DAY IS BLESSED!

Yes ma’am! *salutes and grabs Ignite*

I promise not to look at it, and you’ll have to promise the same thing since I’m sure I’ll have to do the same… And I don’t know how fast shipping is here but I’m crossing my fingers and hoping yours will show up on time!

      • I KNOW, RIGHT! And I’m doing a bit of blog design changes, and the final may go up on that day, as well!

YAY 😀 I really hope you love it!

Okay, I’m glad, haha. Apparently mine takes 10 working days to get to you, which is two weeks. So mine should be to you before Christmas – hurrah!

I'd love to hear from you! Comment below and we can fangirl, rant, or cry over whatever it is that strikes our fancy. I truly appreciate each and every comment, and I'd love to chat!
